About Keep Watch

Keep Watch is a Christian prayer platform designed to help individuals and communities pray together, organise prayer vigils and keep watch with one another.

Keep Watch is not a medical, counselling, emergency, legal or financial service.

Prayer and outcomes

Keep Watch is a place to pray together.

The number of prayers, participants, candles, Prayer Watch slots or completed vigils does not guarantee a particular outcome and should not be interpreted as a measure of spiritual worth, God's favour or the effectiveness of an individual person's faith.

Pray boldly. Trust completely.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity performed through it.

You must provide accurate information where required and must not impersonate another person, organisation or church.

Your content

You remain responsible for prayer requests, updates, support messages, church information and other content you submit to Keep Watch.

Do not publish personal, confidential or sensitive information about another person without appropriate permission.

By submitting content, you allow Keep Watch to store, display and process that content as reasonably necessary to provide the platform.

Acceptable use

You must not use Keep Watch to:

• harass, threaten or abuse another person;
• conduct scams or fraudulent fundraising;
• impersonate a church or another person;
• publish unlawfully obtained private information;
• promote exploitation or manipulation;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts or private vigils;
• disrupt, damage or misuse the platform;
• use prayer participation to pressure or shame another person.

Church accounts

Church profiles should only be created or managed by people who have appropriate authority to represent that church on Keep Watch.

Keep Watch may approve, reject, suspend or remove a church profile where necessary to protect users or the integrity of the platform.

Moderation

Keep Watch may review reports and may restrict, remove or close content or accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce these terms or the Community Guidelines.

Service availability

We aim to keep Keep Watch available and reliable, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

Features may change, be suspended or be discontinued as the platform develops.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as Keep Watch develops. Material changes should be reflected by updating the date shown on this page.
